The story zooms in on the Estrada family,their lives,scandals,loves,the betrayals and the mystery behind their father Jacinto's Estrada disappearance.
Apparently,he went missing after failing to pursue his dreams of becoming a doctor. Estrada has three daughters -Silvia,Lisa and Beatriz and ason Augusto Estrada Rossi who became the guardian of his sisters after their mother died.
With no one left to care for the family,Augusto who refuses to part with his siblings shoulders the responsibility of bringing up the girls.he makes great sacrifices and dedicates his life to keeping the family together.
The eldest girl Silvia becomes maternal figure and helps run the household.She was called 'Jeneral'because she likes to give orders and want everything to be perfect.
Lisa develops a strong emotional dependency on Augusto.She was called'miss perfect'.she works as a nurse and at the same time she takes medical courses at the university to become a doctor.And the youngest one is beatriz or beba which she ends up being everybody's 'daughter'.
Eighteen years later without her knowing,Lisa comes face to face with her long-lost father Jacinto,now her co-worker,tutor and advisor at the hospital where she's working.
Jacinto who deserted his family and resorted to alcohol due to the hardships he faced raising the family,now realises that he should have been there for his children.
Lisa becomes very attached to Jacinto as they work together to investigate an epidemic.
As the story unfolds,Lisa falls for Santiago Ortega Diaz a handsome engineer who at the same time already engaged to barbara, the daughter of the owner of the company he works for.Margarita Alvarez De Estrada who is Augusto's wife is also chasing and try to win Santiago's heart.She will do anything to have Santiago's in her arms.
well augousto met barbara when barbara wanted to tell augousto the truth about his wife but then she backed off because at that time augousto was sad coz his sister(beatriz was in the hospital).
Finally after the hard times,the lovebirds - Lisa and Santiago gets married.There are triplets wedding where Lisa with Santiago,Augusto with Barbara and Beatriz'beba' with Francisco.
By the way margarita being poison by her husband who wants her money.
Silvia and Carlos who already had twins,now they both have triplets!Lisa and Santiago and not forgetting Augusto and barbara they all have childrens.
